HISTORYThe University News, chartered through Saint Louis University's Board of Trustees, has been a news forum and student voice for the SLU community since 1921. The weekly newspaper is published every Thursday during the academic year. Since there is not a journalism program at Saint Louis University, The University News is produced by a staff of students, who are responsible for the reporting, copy-editing, layout design and photography.

If you choose to comment on an article online, well, surprise! There are guidelines for this sort of thing (as if there weren't enough rules already).
1) Be respectful and keep four-letter words to a minimum. Unless it's "cake," which, let's face it, should be used a lot more often.
