I am the president of Virginia Tech alumni in the St. Louis area. We are very appreciative of all the support that Saint Louis University gave us last year during the tragedy.
This year we are having a Virginia Tech Day at the Cardinals Game on April 16 to remember the victims one year later.
We have tickets to the game in the Pavillion Box for $20 each (face value is $27). A percentage of the money raised from ticket sales will go to the Hokie Spirit Scholarship.
I hope that the SLU students will once again show their support and come out to the ballpark. Don't forget to wear your maroon and orange.
