Entertainment planning has a new face at Saint Louis University: Next year's Student Activities Board president will be Junior Kristopher Priemer.
Priemer, currently SAB vice president of public relations, was uncontested in the election.
"He definitely will be a good president," senior and SAB President Ainsley Onstott said. "[Priemer is] very knowledgeable about the organization."
According to Onstott, approximately 40 voting members elected Priemer on Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Busch Student Center. The six other executive board seats of SAB were also filled Tuesday.
Though unopposed, Priemer campaigned and spoke about plans for "fewer but bigger events."
He also said he wants to make sure input from students and members is being used when decisions are made. Another one of his goals is "making the organization, internally, stronger than it has been in the past," Priemer said.
"Officially, our executive board switches over at the finale of our Spring Fever event," Onstott said.
Plans for the annual Spring Fever event will be announced in the March 7 issue of The University News.
