To the Editor:
OneWorld would not exist without the work and support of so many people, and nobody is more aware of that fact than I am. That is why, while I am honored that Fr. Biondi's monthly message included a great deal about me, I do not deserve all of the credit and praise I have received. This magazine would not have come into existence if it weren't for the numerous people that believe in it, that spent countless hours writing and editing articles, taking photographs, organizing events, and simply spreading the word - being a voice for the voiceless. Not to mention, all of the people who prayed for us. While there are hundreds of students who have been instrumental in the success of OneWorld, the following deserve as much, if not more of the honor and credit that OneWorld is receiving: Nicole Trafton, Nima Sheth, Manuela Rodriguez, Amanda Ring-Rissler, Kelly Bienhoff, Gaja Sidrys, Leah Burke, Dominique Gilbert, Andrea Heyse, Mike Reddy, Lainey Trahan, Danielle Mackey, Greg Stock, Luis Blanco-Doring, Linda Kujawa, and Isabelle Cross.
I am very grateful to all the faculty and administration here at SLU who have turned OneWorld from an idea into a successful reality. This long list includes especially Michelle Lorenzini, Donna Bess, Phil Lyons, Kent Porterfield, Tim Keane, Ron Modras, Laura Geiser, Matt Krob, Van Vieregge and Fr. Biondi. From the OneWorld executive board we owe you a sincere debt of gratitude. I wholeheartedly want to thank all of you for your support, encouragement, and guidance.
