Krauss has shown a passion for campus involvement, as evidenced by his participation in numerous CSOs. Though only a sophomore, he has obviously already networked with students and administration. If he builds upon this strong foundation, Krauss should become a valuable campus leader in the remainder of his undergraduate career.

However, Krauss currently lacks the experience and poise of his opponent. He failed to outline the specifics of his platform and explain how his proposals will be implemented. His ideas for cohesion among similar CSOs seem convoluted at best and lead us to wonder whether an already-difficult process would be further entrenched in a quagmire of paperwork.

Krauss is a charismatic person with much to contribute to the student body. However, he would benefit greatly from actual SGA experience to complement his amiable personality.

Buhrman's greatest asset is his year of diligent tutelage under the sage guidance of current Executive Vice President Chris Clark. In addition to his current duties as SGA Chief of Staff, Buhrman has a year of senate experience.

By openly advocating the expansion of CSOs, Buhrman will foster the growth of as many extracurricular activities as the student body can support. If students wish to form a club, and are prepared to finance it if SGA cannot allocate funding, they have every right to do so. Buhrman's open marketplace for CSOs ensures the continued diversity of activities, allowing every student a chance to join a group and feel connected to campus life.

Buhrman supports the buddy system, which gives CSOs a direct liason to the SGA. If executed properly, this new protocol could revolutionize CSO-SGA dialogue and make sure that everyone has a voice when they need to be heard.

Buhrman has done well to learn, understand and serve the SGA system already. He will be a valuable asset to the next executive board.
